2021 Chrysler Pacifica | Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram DelawareThe Chrysler Pacifica has consistently been a highly rated minivan because of its stylish appearance, smooth handling, comfortable cabin, and generous feature content! For 2021, the minivan undergoes many significant changes in an effort to improve its position in its increasingly competitive segment. Check out the most notable upgrades of the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica.

New Lineup

In the previous model year, the Chrysler Pacifica came in four trim levels: the base Touring, Touring L, Touring L Plus, and the top-of-the-line Limited. However, the Touring L Plus has been discontinued for the 2021 model year. A new trim called Pinnacle joins the lineup and becomes the top-spec Pacifica model.

According to Fiat Chrysler Automobile, the Pinnacle is the minivan with the most refined cabin, featuring quilted Nappa leather upholstery on all seats, lumbar pillows on the captain chairs in the middle row, an “Ultra Console” between the front seats, second-row floor storage, and caramel and piano black accents. The new “Ultra Console” is an integrated center console that seamlessly blends into the instrument panel and provides additional storage.

Bolder Styling

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica has undergone a number of styling changes that make it look significantly different from its predecessor. The most obvious update is likely the redesigned grille, which changed from a slim, horizontal opening that curved like a smile to a large, dramatic maw. The new grille seems to make the minivan look less elegant but more aggressive and athletic.

Additionally, the Chrysler Pacifica gets a new LED taillight that spans its entire width and makes it more distinguishable. Other updates include new LED headlights, more visible fog-lamp surrounds, and new 17 to 20-inch wheels.

New Tech Features

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is the first Chrysler vehicle to offer Fiat Chrysler Automobile’s new Uconnect 5 infotainment system. This system features a larger 10-inch touch-screen display and the Android operating system. It also comes with the Amazon Alexa digital assistant, which enables you to use voice commands to control news, music, podcasts, and more. In addition, you can remotely control the minivan to perform tasks such as starting and unlocking or locking doors.

Uconnect 5 also comes with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot that allows over-the-air updates. While they were available in the previous year’s Chrysler Pacifica, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can now work wirelessly and enable Google Voice and Siri. You’ll also find a dozen USB ports in the minivan for charging and connecting devices, including segment-first Type C ports that can charge devices at up to four times the speed of a standard USB port.

More Safety Features

For 2021, the Chrysler Pacifica carries over all the safety systems of its predecessor, while adding more than a dozen new ones. The new standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian alert, forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking obstruction alert.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is scheduled to hit showrooms in the fourth quarter of 2020. If you want to know more about this new and improved minivan, feel free to speak with the knowledgeable and helpful staff at Performance CJDR Delaware.
