Caverns | Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Delaware in Delaware, OHThe weekend is coming, and we know you need to plan your next outing in style because your new 2022 Dodge Challenger deserves to be driven. Whether you’re having a self-care day out or want to impress your significant other by organizing a great date, we’re here to help you plan! We have found three of the best views in Delaware, OH, for you to visit – check out some of our favorite spots below!

Olentangy Caverns

If you want to go below the surface of a typical outing, you can stop at Olentangy Caverns to explore the underground caves. You’ll enjoy the natural wonder left by what was once a mighty river as it smashed against the limestone over many years, gradually carving out the structures found throughout the caverns. You’ll also learn about the local Native American history of the area.
You can pay individually to take a self-guided tour of the caverns or purchase an all-access pass for all activities offered. For each adult, the cost is $25.99 and includes your tour of the caves, the petting zoo, the treasure hunt maze, miniature golf, and gem mining! You’ll find the Olentangy Caverns at 1779 Home Road.

Shale Hollow Park

Shale Hollow Park is a lovely place to reflect or stretch your legs while enjoying the beauty of nature. It boasts a serene landscape of large shade trees and a flowing creek that connects to the Olentangy River. The address of this destination is 6320 Artesian Run in Lewis Center, OH, and it’s one of the Preservation Parks of Delaware County.
Alongside the creek, you’ll find 20-40-foot shale cliffs, which make for an exciting contrast in the land. Shale Hollow Park includes a walking trail, natural play areas, and picnic tables, all nestled in a thick surrounding of white oak, hickory, and maple trees.

The Arts Castle

At 190 W Winter Street, you’ll find a stunning piece of architecture that looks like it’s been transported from England or a fantasy novel. This location houses the Delaware County Cultural Arts Center, which is more frequently referred to as “The Arts Castle” due to the Romanesque Revival-style residence built in 1854 out of blue limestone.
As well as taking a castle tour, the arts center has frequent exhibits and events that you can check out. These exhibits, workshops, classes, and events are part of the non-profit organization’s mission to foster an appreciation for the arts while nurturing the creativity of the occupants of Delaware County and beyond!

The three views we’ve given you will elevate your weekend plans no matter your tastes. Now you just need to hop in your car and make the drive! So start deciding which one to visit– or maybe all! – of these terrific spots over the next few weekends!
