2021 Jeep Compass | Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Delaware in Delaware, OHThe 2021 Jeep Compass is very modern-looking and attractive while maintaining that distinctive Jeep styling. This compact SUV with four doors and a hatchback is just the right size for many drivers and their families.

New in 2021

Jeep hasn’t made any major changes to the Compass in 2021, although they have added a new 80th Anniversary Edition and have added more safety features as standard on the Limited and Trailhawk trims. That gives a total of seven trims available in the 2021 Compass.

Sport Model Value

The base sport model drivers with considerable value-for-money at just over $25,000. If you want the all-wheel drive, you will have to swap the six-speed gearbox for the nine-speed automatic and transmission and be prepared to spend an extra $1500. On top of other great features, the base Sport model also offers plenty of cargo space.

Brawn and Luxurious Exterior

All jeep models have an iconic look. The 2021 Compass has distinctly Jeep styling cues as you would expect, but the exterior design gives the vehicle a more up-market appearance. A two-tone roof is standard on the Limited and the Trailhawk models as well as being available for the Latitude. Additional luxury touches are also part of the upper-end Limited model, with exterior styling extras that include plenty of chrome.

Two-Wheel and Four-Wheel Drive

Whether you choose the two-wheel front-wheel-drive model of one of the four-wheel-drive models, all trims come with the same 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that turns out a respectable 180 horsepower. Having 4WD is great because you can use it when you want, say on slightly wet and slippery roads, but turn it off when it is not needed and you want to improve your fuel economy. The advantage of the two-wheel front-wheel drive is you get the responsiveness, flexibility, and driver experience using a manual six-speed gearbox.

Connected Entertainment

Jeep’s Uconnect 4 infotainment system is one of the best on the market. Buyers will be happy to know that the system comes standard across the complete 2021 Compass range. The Uconnect  4 system is very easy to use, is extremely responsive, and is highly intuitive. The standard system comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen and as with all Uconnect integrates with Apple and Android smartphones with ease.

Extensive Driver Aids

If you are looking for a Compass with off-road capability and all the driver aids, you should go with the 2021 Compass Limited model. There is an impressive list of driver-assistance technology that is available with the Compass, but none of it standard across the board. The Compass achieved a four-star crash-test rating from the NHTSA.

Warranty and Free Maintenance

As with other Jeep models, the Compass comes with a Limited warranty that covers three years or 36,000. The Powertrain warranty covers the drivetrain for five years or 60,000. The real advantage of owning a 2021 Compass is the three years of complimentary maintenance.

If you are looking for a four-door, five-passenger, hatchback that offers great value for money and a range of optional extras, make sure you give the 2021 Compass a good look. Find out more from the team at the Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Delaware today.
