Located on North Sandusky Street, Delaware, Restoration Brew Worx (RBW) has a cool vibe with its high ceilings, exposed brickwork, and eclectic artwork by local artists. The servers are really welcoming and the bar has a superb range of craft brews along with cider and wines. The outdoor patio offers al fresco eating and drinking when the weather allows.

On the menu, appetizers include spinach artichoke dip, bratwurst sliders, chorizo tots, and mini corn dogs. You’ll find a good choice of salads, wings, sandwiches, and burgers including the Portobello and the ground salmon burger. You can add their made-from-scratch house sauces like the pineapple habanero, RBW ketchup, honey mustard, and buttery buffalo garlic.

The Old Dog Alehouse & Brewery on West William Street is in an old building where the decor blends the modern with the traditional. The spacious bar offers plenty of seating options and the lovely dog-friendly patio features an outdoor bar. Around 11 house-made craft beers on tap give you plenty of variety. The bartenders will also create specialty cocktails for you.

The menu offers shareable plates like the Charcuterie board, fusion nachos, tempura buffalo cauliflower, and a giant soft pretzel. You could choose from entrees such as honey citrus glazed salmon, a short rib, fish and chips, or ginger miso spaghetti squash. Sandwiches include lobster roll, hot chicken, pimento fried green tomato, and the Old Dog burger.

Forbidden Root is located in a large modern building on Worth Avenue in Columbus. The interior is set over different levels and old armchairs and rugs give the place a rustic and relaxed feel. The botanic brewery creates craft beers inspired by nature. Their brews include Saison, Strawberry Basil Hefeweizen, and Snoochie Boochies IPA.

To satisfy a small appetite, Forbidden Root’s menu features snacks, a cheese board, and small plates like wings, pork and sauerkraut balls, and mixed greens. For your main course, you can opt for dishes such as shrimp and grits, a Korean street veggie burger, duck and dumplings, mussels, as well as arugula and smoked salmon salad.

  1. Somewhere in Particular Brewing

Situated in a historic house on Dierker Road, Columbus, Somewhere in Particular (SIP) Brewing has a unique atmosphere created by beautiful murals and metal artwork that captures the imagination. The beers have names like Cool Nerd eyeglasses, Feast for the Common Dead, and Large Marge’s Big Adventure.
