Trim Levels
Dodge offers five trims on the Charger for 2020. The SXT is the entry-level model with that signature black grille, piercing halogen headlights, and remote-activated perimeter approach lights.
The GT adds to the functional style with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, LED fog lamps, and a rear spoiler. The RT model builds off the GT by adding 20-inch painted aluminum wheels, the classic hood scoop, and a performance grille.
The RT Scat Pack adds an inch to the width of the 20-inch tires for additional control. It also comes in a Widebody model that's built for speed. The SRT Hellcat is performance engineering at its finest with dual air extractors on the hood and signature SRT Hellcat badging.
Engine
A 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine is standard in the Charger. Together with the eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, this powertrain delivers up to 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque.
The classic 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine comes standard on the R/T. It puts out 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. The Scat Pack uses the 392 HEMI V-8 engine. This beast of a motor gets a best-in-class 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque on a naturally aspirated engine.
If you're all about racing, the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 is under the SRT Hellcat's hood. This turbocharged engine gets an outstanding 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of track-tearing torque.
Performance
The TorqueFlite transmission helps the Charger slip through gears with precision engineering, getting from 0-60 mph in around 4.5 seconds. Steering wheel mounted paddle shifters will keep your hands on the wheel while you control all that power.
An available all-wheel-drive system allows for superior control under any conditions. This technology features an active transfer case that automatically delivers power where it's needed most.
Three different performance suspensions are used, depending on your model: a standard, a high-performance, and a Widebody competition suspension. These systems use advanced technologies like Bilstein performance shock absorbers, active damping systems, and sport and track driving modes to sharpen the Charger's responsiveness.
Interior
Heated and ventilated seats are standard on some models and are available on every Charger. A leather-wrapped heated flat-bottom steering wheel adds the right touch of sporty sophistication. Laguna leather seats are standard on the SRT Hellcat, and the signature badging is used throughout the cabin's many soft-touch surfaces.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay allow for hands-free access to all your smart devices. Bluetooth streaming is also standard. With over 104 cubic feet of interior space, there's plenty of room for five passengers.
